31 OCTOBER: SAMHAIN
Samhain (from the old irish "Samain" and the gaelic "Samhuinn") is the last sabbath or sun celebration of the pagan calendar based on the "celtic year".
Samhain means "Summer End" and for old celtic people it was the third and last celebration of the harvest, which marked to the end of the summer and the beginning of the winter (dark or shady period, the first of two halves in which celtic people divided the year).
